The Green Sling™ began with a simple, sweaty dilemma: what do you do with that extra layer mid-run?
Founder Maddie DeJong, a former college athlete with a background in textiles, apparel, and sustainability, knew there had to be a better way — one that didn’t rely on wasteful fast fashion or landfill-bound gear. So she designed a functional fix that aligned with her values: a sleek, no-bounce running belt made from upcycled leggings.
After two rounds of prototyping and countless test runs, The Green Sling™ was born — a patent-pending product that solves everyday problems for runners, walkers, and bikers, while giving new life to old materials.
This isn’t just a belt. It’s a movement — toward smarter design, circular fashion, and gear that goes the distance.
